IPL PREDICTION : Aakash Chopra praises Lucknow Super Giants’ strategy in the IPL 2022 Auction

LSG’s draught picks included KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi, and they were able to secure some big names in the auction. They acquired bat-and-bowl players such as Jason Holder, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Krishnappa Gowtham.

Aakash Chopra, a former India opener and cricket analyst, is recognised for his in-depth analysis of the game, and when it comes to the Indian Premier League (IPL), he does his study thoroughly. Chopra, who was part of the Star Sports panel of experts during the broadcast of the IPL super auction, came to Twitter on Tuesday to express his thoughts on the roster that the new franchise Lucknow Super Giants has put together.

I Chopra lauded the team’s administration, including mentor Gautam Gambhir, head coach Andy Flower, and owner Sanjiv Goenka, for their auction plan. The former KKR batsman highlighted the squad’s main strength, which he believes is having guys who can contribute with both bat and ball.

“It’s their first ever auction, but @LucknowIPL have aced it in my opinion,” Chopra wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a video in which he explained why he gave the team such a good grade.

It’s been said that establishing a team for your first auction is difficult because you have to start from scratch and have nothing to compare it to. There are some franchises who can look back at the decisions that worked for them and there are some who learn from the mistakes and opt for a clean slate. With that in mind, I believe the Lucknow Super Giants (in their maiden auction) performed admirably. “They’re a nine out of ten for me,” Chopra said.

LSG’s draught picks included KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi, and they were able to get some major names in the auction.

They acquired bat-and-bowl players like as Jason Holder, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Krishnappa Gowtham.

Chopra also lauded the squad for bringing in a powerful batter in Quinton de Kock and investing in pacers like Mark Wood, Dushmantha Chameera, and Avesh Khan.

“Almost all of the important players can contribute with both the bat and the ball, and they may be cycled through the batting order. This provides them a lot of batting depth, as well as a lot of variation in their bowling attack “Chopra continued.
