For the mehendi ceremony, Australia and RCB all-rounder Glenn Maxwell looked stylish in a blue sherwani jacket. Vini Raman, on the other hand, looked stunning in a multi-hued floral lehenga outfit.

On Wednesday, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022’s second encounter at the DY Patil Stadium (March 30). On Tuesday (March 29), only a day before the big match, RCB’s star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell married Vini Raman in a traditional Indian ceremony in Chennai.

Maxwell and his Indian-origin wife Vini shared numerous photographs from their mehendi ceremony on Instagram. The pair, who married in a Christian ceremony on March 18, also wedded this week according to Indian customs. Traditional haldi and mehendi rites were also part of their wedding festivities. Glenn’s desi groom persona is also very impressive.

For the mehendi ceremony, Australian all-rounder Maxwell looked handsome in a blue sherwani jacket. Vini, on the other hand, looked stunning in a multi-hued floral lehenga outfit. In the caption, the pair wrote, “Magical moments during our mehendi night.”

Maxwell wore a powder blue sherwani jacket, which is a typical sherwani jacket. His costume, which he got from the multi-designer boutique Karegar, had tone-on-tone embroidery and was rather short. He dressed down the ethnic look with a pair of white slacks.

Vini Raman chose a Seema Gujral floral lehenga for her wedding. It had an ogle-worthy lehenga skirt and an embroidered golden blouse. The attire is really an Indian bride’s fantasy, complete with the designer’s distinctive flower embellishments in a variety of pastel colours.

The pair also uploaded images from their haldi ceremony a few days ago. Glenn Maxwell of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Vini Raman dated for nearly two years before marrying. In 2020, they announced their engagement on Instagram.

Maxwell helped RCB enter the playoffs in IPL 2021 by scoring 513 runs at an average of 52.75 and a strike rate of 144.1 with six fifties.
