RuPay, the flagship product of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has been recognised as an official partner for TATA IPL 15 by the Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC). The multi-year collaboration, which kicks off on March 26, aims to promote “faster and smoother” digital payment usage while also developing a brand presence in cricket.

According to the press release, “this collaboration brings together two of India’s top indigenous companies and will have a major influence on millions of Indians throughout the world, pushing digital payments adoption in a speedier and smoother way.”
