CPL 2022 PREDICTION : HERO CPL MATCHES TO BE HOSTED IN ST KITTS AND NEVIS IN 2022

The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has announced that matches would be held in St Kitts and Nevis for the 2022 competition, which will take place from August 30 to September 30.

Between August 30 and September 4, St Kitts & Nevis will host seven matches, four of which will feature the home team and current champions, the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

After successfully hosting the entire tournament in 2021, the Hero CPL will return to St Kitts & Nevis in 2022.

“The 2021 Hero CPL was an enormous success,” stated Pete Russell, CEO of Hero CPL. “We are enormously thankful to the government and people of St Kitts and Nevis, who were fabulous hosts.” Warner Park is a terrific facility, and we’re looking forward to returning there as the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots begin their championship defence in front of a home crowd.”

“The hosting of the CPL in its entirety in 2021 in St Kitts & Nevis proved a triumph in every aspect for our people,” remarked Hon. Jonel Powell, Minister of Sport for St Kitts & Nevis. Due to the epidemic, tremendous immediate economic advantages were realised in our economy and to individuals at a difficult time. Through the incredible matches, our people were able to get some much-needed ‘Covid respite’ socially, and our very own St Kitts & Nevis Patriots won their first CPL title in spectacular fashion.

“That is why we are thrilled to once again work with CPL as a host site for their 2022 edition, and to have the chance to see our Patriots defend their championship right here at historic Warner Park.”
