Shreyas Iyer is the captain of the IPL 2020 finalist Delhi Capitals. Virat Kohli, the current Indian captain, leads RCB, one of the most popular teams in the IPL. Punjab Kings is captained by KL Rahul, KKR is led by Eoin Morgan, SRH is led by David Warner, and Rajasthan Royals is led by Sanju Samson.

The IPL 2021 will bring together some of the best national and international players. Some young players from domestic cricket as well as other nations will be selected for the teams, in addition to international cricketers from India and other countries. Many cricketers rose to prominence as a result of their performances in the IPL.
