CRICKET DREAM 11 PREDICTION : CSK Should Be Prepared More On Faf du In The IPL 2022 Ravichandran Ashwin is a cricketer from India.

Ravichandran Ashwin, an Indian off-spinner, has warned Chennai Super Kings that obtaining South Africa batsman Faf du Plessis in the IPL 2022 auction would be difficult.

Since joining CSK in 2012, Du Plessis has been a key component of the ‘Yellow Brigade,’ winning two IPL championships. With a strike rate of 132, the South African hitter accumulated 2932 runs in 93 innings.

Faf du Plessis was CSK’s second-highest scorer in the IPL 2022 season.

Du Plessis was the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2021, with 633 runs from 16 games, and built a successful opening pair with Ruturaj Gaikwad for CSK.

CSK scored 192 in the final versus KKR, thanks to Du Plessis’ 86 from 59 balls, which included seven fours and three sixes. MS Dhoni and his team triumphed by 27 runs to win the IPL for the fourth time.

Du Plessis was sold to CSK for INR 1.60 crore in the 2018 IPL auction after the franchise utilised the right-to-match (RTM) card.

CSK should be prepared to pay much more on Faf du Plessis: Ravichandran Ashwin is a cricketer from India.

The four-time IPL winners would have to spend enough money to get the former South Africa skipper, according to Ashwin, who played with the Yellow Brigade from 2009 to 2015.

“The last time CSK took Faf du Plessis, they got 1.5 crore. But I don’t think he’ll be able to get away with it this time. “He will undoubtedly be on the wish list of CSK supporters,” Ashwin remarked on his own YouTube account.

“If CSK wants to get Faf du Plessis this time, they should be prepared to pay far more than they did the previous time.” Faf du Plessis, in my view, will be in high demand. Most clubs will be interested in Faf,” he continued.

MS Dhoni, the legendary captain, was retained, as were budding batter Ruturaj Gaikwad, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali.

The IPL 2022 auction will include ten teams instead of the usual eight, since the BCCI added two extra clubs (Lucknow and Ahmedabad) for the following tournament.

After a reduction in the list, just 590 players (370 Indians and 220 internationals) will go under the hammer in the IPL 2022 auction.
