The 39-year-old has consistently performed for the side in all situations, whether it be in ODI, Test, or T20I formats. Goswami stopped playing T20Is in 2018, however he kept on playing Tests and ODIs.

The experienced cricketer stated she still has a strong desire to play for India and that she also participated in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2022. It appears that the selectors are now prepared to look past her and have informed her that she might no longer be important in the big picture. The BCCI decided that a farewell game should be offered to her in recognition of her tireless devotion to India. The famous fast bowler will now play her final match at Lord’s Stadium on September 24.
