Daniel Christian Bio

Daniel Christian is an all-rounder cricketer from Australia who is known for his power hitting and intelligent bowling. He bats right-handed and bowls right-arm fast medium.

He’s had success in franchise-based T20 leagues all over the world, but he is yet to make an impact at the international level. Aside from that, he’s a great fielder, making him a full package.

Debut

Christian lead the Indigenous Australian team that toured England, where his power hitting caught selectors attention. He made his international debut in a T20 match against West Indies in February 2010, putting on a decent bowling display by taking two wickets.

He had to wait a little longer for his ODI debut which finally came in 2012 against India in the Commonwealth Bank Tri-series. He made some quick runs and provided a vital breakthrough in the match.

Rise to Glory

His consistent positive domestic results for South Australia earned him a place in the T20 team. He was a member of Australia’s World T20 team in 2010.

In the 2012 Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series, he also put in a strong overall score. One of the highlights of the tournament was his hattrick against Sri Lanka en route to figures of 5/31.

But, since then, his international career has been inconsistent, with occasional moments of brilliance. His brute force, along with his useful seam bowling, has made him a success in T20 leagues all over the world.
