How to bet on cricket tips : Ranaweera and Dilhari lead Sri Lanka Women to an 11-run victory against the UAE on DLS: View Highlights from the Women’s Asia Cup

By 11 runs, SriLanka Women defeated UAE Women using the Duckworth-Lewis formula. UAE had to chase 66 in 11 overs as thunder and lightening stopped the game. However, Kavisha Dilhari and Inoka Ranaweera caused a middle-order breakdown, which made it much easier for Lankan women to successfully defend the objective. In 11 overs, UAE only managed to score 54/7.

UAE-Women struggled to get going while attempting to reach a modest aim of 110. Esha Rohit, the opener, left the game in the third over with the score at 15/1. However, the game was called off shortly after a lightning strike made the playing surface dangerous. After an hour break, it continued, but SriLankan ladies resisted.

After the rain break, Kavisha Egodage left, and Kavisha Dilhari took her place. UAE were now need to go above 6 an over with the revised aim of 66. But because of the sluggish surface, several wickets fell quickly one after the other. UAE began to sputter at 21/2 and found themselves at 44/7.

UAE, however, was unable to reach the necessary run because Dilhari and Ranaweera bowled tight overs. They ultimately only succeeded in scoring 54/7. Ranaweera also scored 2/7, while Dilhari responded with 2/7.

In the Women’s Asia Cup league match, Sri Lanka Women chose to bat and set an easy 110-run goal for UAE. As Sri Lankan hitters battled on a sluggish pitch, Harshitha Madavi led the way with 37 points. Vaishnave Mahesh and Mahika Gaur both claimed three wickets. With one loss and one victory, Sri Lanka moved up to fourth place, behind India.
