However, former Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal called India a great team and praised their performance as well.
“People are talking about India not winning an ICC event in his decade. You can’t win every ICC event. And if winning the ICC trophy is the only criterion, teams like New Zealand and South Africa should be banned because they haven’t yet. India are a great team and they are playing on a different level,” Akumal told his Paktv.tv.
Meanwhile, with his ICC ODI World Cup in India this year, Rohit Sharma and his mates have a great chance of becoming World Champions at home. Interestingly, the last three World Cups over 50 have been won by hosts England (2019), Australia (2015) and India (2011).
