According to NDTV, Indian cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gowtham tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. The pair were with India for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka, but they didn’t play the second and third T20Is after colliding with Krunal Pandya, whose positive test result caused the second T20I to be postponed by a day. After Krunal tested positive, Chahal and Gowtham were already placed in isolation, and the three will now remain in Sri Lanka as the rest of the Indian squad goes home today.

The second and third T20Is, the last two matches of India’s tour of Sri Lanka, were played on consecutive days (July 28, 29), but with several Indian players isolated.
