IPL 2022 was one of the editions of the tournament where a number of lesser-known players took advantage of every opportunity they were given and shone brightly. The franchises that these players represented paid a base price of Rs 20 lakh for several of them.
The Times of India calculated the value for money (VFM) of all the players who appeared in the IPL 2022 across the 10 clubs, and the results were fascinating.

Simply simply, VFM is the player’s overall worth divided by his price. The player’s total value is determined by his accomplishments as a batter, bowler, fielder, and captain (if applicable).
