Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have presented their new team jersey ahead of the blockbuster auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s new revamped jersey features the team’s traditional orange and black colours. The new suit also has orange dots on black sleeves, a clean black neck and collar, and simple orange lower gear.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be hoping to turn their fortunes over under Kane Williamson’s leadership following a disappointing run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 with the new outfit.
Notably, the team’s performance in the Indian Premier League in 2021 was dismal, as they only won three games and finished last in the standings.
In IPL 2022, SRH will have a new coaching staff.
In the Indian Premier League 2022, Sunrisers Hyderabad will have a new coaching staff. Brian Lara has been named as the SRH squad’s batting coach and strategic adviser, while Dale Steyn has been named as the fast bowling coach. Hemang Badani, a former Indian cricketer, has also been assigned to the club as a fielding coach and scout.
Meanwhile, former Australian batter Simon Katich, who was the head coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) club, has joined Sunrisers Hyderabad as an assistant coach. He will be taking over for Brad Haddin, who was an assistant coach with the Orange Army.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad have parted company with head coach Trevor Bayliss, and new head coach Tom Moody has been hired. Muttiah Muralitharan, the legendary Sri Lankan spinner, has been retained by the franchise as the strategy and spin bowling coach.
