Kieron Pollard, the star all-rounder and vice-captain of the Mumbai Indians, has landed in the UAE to join the team bubble ahead of the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He was brought in after leading the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 title. Pollard will be isolated for two days after playing in the CPL before joining the Mumbai Indians bubble.

On Sunday, MI will meet MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai, kicking off the second phase of the IPL 2021. Meanwhile, the franchise announced the arrival of the Caribbean all-rounder on Twitter.

Rohit Sharma, the captain, and Suryakumar Yadav, the batsman, have been released from quarantine and have begun training in the UAE. In the nets, they were seen sweating it out.
Following the CSK-MI match, the action will go to Abu Dhabi, where KKR will face Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On September 24, Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Chennai Super Kings in Sharjah’s first match. There will be 13 matches in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi.
