Here is the starting lineup for the Punjab Kings, who bought Sam Karan for a record amount and secured the services of Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza at an auction in Kochi.
The Punjab Kings have broken records at the IPL 2023 auction by buying England all-rounder and T20 World Cup Player of the Year Sam Curran for a record price of Rs 18.5 million. After showing off Karan, the Kings held back and took five more of his players, including Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza and Karnataka pacesetter Vidwanth Kaverappa, who has made waves on India’s white-ball circuit.
Karan joins Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh’s strong pace battery, adding firepower to an already explosive batting lineup that includes compatriots Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone.
