After Delhi Capitals’ (DC) convincing victory over Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 on Sunday, opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who scored a brilliant 92, was interviewed by DC teammate and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, and the talk had some amusing moments. “Laughter galore, ft. Gabbar & Ashwin,” the IPL tweeted, along with a video of Ashwin congratulating Dhawan on his Orange Cap win. “Shikhar, how was the game? “The Orange Cap suits you well,” Ashwin said, to which Dhawan answered, “Thank you very much.” All of the colours, I suppose, look nice on me “Both players burst out laughing at the same time.

“This feeling of self-appreciation has not gone anywhere,” Ashwin said, amused by Dhawan’s response.
The team’s final game in Mumbai was on Sunday, and Ashwin reminded Dhawan that the team will now travel to Chennai for their next match against the Mumbai Indians.
“We’ll be relocating to Chennai. I’d like to see the Orange Cap turn magenta, complete with purple accents “Ashwin cracked a joke.
Dhawan responded as quickly as he could: “Is it purple? That is something you will like!”
Dhawan’s mesmerising innings, in which he single-handedly deflated the Punjab Kings’ bowling attack and helped Delhi chase down the 196-run mark, prompted the banter.
He scored 92 runs off 49 hits, hitting 13 fours and two sixes.
KL Rahul, the captain of Punjab Kings, scored 62 and Mayank Agarwal 69 to help his team to a competitive 195 for 4.
However, Dhawan’s innings ensured that Delhi did not have to work too hard to reach the mark.
