IPL Prediction 2023: In his first social media post since the accident, Rishabh Pant said: Surgery was successful and the road to recovery began

Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant wrote a social media post on Monday, updating him on his recovery process after being injured in a car accident on December 30.

“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and wishes. Thank you BCCI, Jay Shah and government agencies for their incredible support,” Pant tweeted. “From the bottom of my heart, I would also like to thank all the fans, teammates, doctors and physiotherapists for their kind words and encouragement. I look forward to seeing you all on the field,” he added.

Pant was involved in an accident around 5 a.m. after a car crashed into a bulkhead near Manglore police station in Roorkee.
According to BCCI, Rishabh had two lacerations on his forehead, torn ligaments in his right knee, injuries to his right wrist, ankle and toe, and a scrape on his back.

After his initial recovery at Max’s Hospital in Dehradun, he was admitted to Kokilaben His Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Institute in Mumbai to undergo “surgery and subsequent procedures”.
