IPL Prediction and Free Tips : Prashant Solanki, a leg-spinner for CSK, explains how MS Dhoni’s advice helped him succeed.

After a bidding war between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals, the 22-year-old leg-spinner Prashant Solanki was purchased by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 1.2 crore at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 super auction (RR).

Solanki failed to take a wicket in his debut game of the cash-rich competition on May 15 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai against IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans (GT).

However, he picked up a handful of wickets and only gave out 20 runs in his second game against the runners-up Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Prashant Solanki, speaking about Dhoni in an interview, remarked that he keeps things simple. He went on to say that the famed Indian captain had instructed them to bowl dot balls to put the opposition under strain.

The 22-year-old discussed his second IPL 2022 game against Rajasthan Royals, in which he was smacked for a six on his first delivery of the over, and how Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni promptly told him to bowl shorter lengths, which ultimately helped him succeed.

“I came in a little late to bowl in the second game because we didn’t have a large total and he was changing the bowlers around.” My first pitch was smacked for a six. Then he (Dhoni) told me that I needed to cut my hair back and maintain it a little shorter. Allow him to play strokes on the bigger end of the spectrum. “After that, I was successful.”

“He (Hetmyer) hit me for a boundary, and Mahi bhai told me to utilise the greater side of the ground once more.” I bowled the top spinner on his legs, and he miscued the delivery and was caught at deep mid-wicket.”
