IPL PREDICTION : Deep Dasgupta on RCB’s well-rounded team: “I think this is the first time in a long time I feel they have a proper squad.”

Following the two-day IPL super auction in Bengaluru, former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta hailed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for their new-look lineup. After keeping Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Mohammad Siraj, the franchise entered the auction with a purse of Rs 57 crore.

In the shape of Faf du Plessis, RCB made a single big player acquisition. After a series of lengthy bidding wars, they lured back two of its major former players, Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga. Before relying on rookies and reserve players, the squad brought in Dinesh Karthik and Josh Hazlewood to add to the experience.
