The emphasis now moves to the India vs. South Africa T20 series after an excellent victory against Australia in the T20 series. A three-match series between the Proteas and India will begin on September 28. Arshdeep Singh, an India pacer who is also a member of the T20 World Cup team, will travel to Thiruvananthapuram to join Rohit Sharma and company. He’ll probably also be in India’s starting XI for the opening T20 match.
It is significant to note that Arshdeep recently reported for work relating to conditioning at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. As a result, he wasn’t selected for India’s team to play in the Australia series. He is on track to play in the South Africa T20 series, however. Mohammed Shami’s involvement, who missed the Australia series due to Covid, is uncertain, however.
The team of Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will go to the NCA for the next series.
Pandya and Bhuvneshwar both played a role in India defeating Australia in Hyderabad. And now that Arshdeep has been added, it seems probable that the Punjabi pacer will be included right away to the starting XI. He might step in for Bhuvneshwar.
