Rashid Khan of the Lahore Qalandars will depart the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to represent Afghanistan in a limited-overs match against Bangladesh, which will begin on February 23, 2022 at Chattogram.

Khan not only took wickets at a low strike rate of 16.60, but he also gave up runs at a low economy rate of 6.25 per over throughout the competition. Rashid Khan will go down in Afghanistan’s history as the best bowler the country has ever produced.
Khan has 103 wickets in only 56 matches, making him the fourth best wicket-taker in T20I cricket history. In T20I cricket, he has two five-wicket hauls. The leg-spinner is also the best wicket-taker for Afghanistan in one-day international cricket, with 146 wickets at an average of 18.49 in only 77 appearances. Khan has also grabbed 34 wickets for the Afghanistan cricket team in Test matches.
