KL According to a statement issued by Punjab Kings, Rahul had suffered intense stomach pain last night, and after medications failed to alleviate the symptoms, further tests revealed that he was suffering from acute appendicitis. He’ll need surgery to repair the injury, so he’s been admitted to the hospital.

If KL Rahul does not play in the IPL 2021, it would be a major setback for the team, which is currently in fifth place on the points table after three wins in seven games.
