Due to “bubble fatigue accrued over the past year,” Liam Livingstone has quit the Rajasthan Royals (RR) squad and flown back to England, the IPL franchise announced on Twitter. Livingstone last appeared in an ODI against India, where he made his 50-over debut and contributed a pair of critical runs. Livingstone was in Australia before coming to India to compete in the Big Bash League with his Perth Scorchers, where he placed second.
Livingstone made his ODI debut against India in the series’ second match, scoring an undefeated 27 to help England win and tie the series at 1-1.
He scored 36 runs and took a wicket for 20 runs in the next match, but his team lost.
Livingstone made his T20I debut against South Africa in 2017 and has only played two T20I matches for England since then, scoring 16 runs in both appearances.
