India-A defeated New Zealand-A with a score of 4-wickets in the second ODI to win the series 2-0. The player of the match was Kuldeep Yadav, who scored a hat-trick. India defeated NZ-A for 219 thanks to his 4/51. using a bat. From the start, Prithvi Shaw was leading the charge. He scored 77 on a 48-ball. Rishi Dhawan (22 off 43) and Shardul Thakur (25 off 24) stayed undefeated to put the final touches on as India A lost quick wickets in the middle overs.
India-A made it seem simple while pursuing a modest aim of 220. With 82 runs added in only 10 overs, Prithvi Shaw and Ruturaj Gaikwad got the game started to an explosive start. Gaikwad was out for 30 as Shaw maintained his attack on the Kiwi bowlers. He scored 77 runs off only 48 balls, smashing 11 fours and three sixes.
However, after Shaw was ejected, India rapidly dropped wickets. Tilak Verma was let go for a golden duck, and Rajat Patidar soon followed. Sanju Samson seized the lead in the pursuit and made several exquisite shots to score 37 points off of 35. However, India A lost two fast wickets once again. Raj Bawa was fired for a duck after Samson.
However, skilled Rishi Dhawan took over with Shardul Thakur. The two extended their 42-run partnership to help India-A win. Dhawan finished undefeated on 22, while Shardul hammered 25 off 24—three fours and a six—to stay unbeaten. India now has a 2-0 series victory. On Tuesday in Chennai, the third and final game of the series will be played.
Kuldeep Yadav earlier ruined New Zealand-batting A’s by taking 4 wickets. In addition to his four wickets, he also had an outstanding hat-trick. For 219, the Kiwis were eliminated. At one time, the visiting team’s chances of reaching 250 or more were strong at 190/5. Kuldeep, though, took wickets at regular intervals to end with a 4/50 total in 10 overs. Earlier, New Zealand-Rachin A’s Ravindra (61) and Joe Carter (72) both got half century.
India-A, captained by Sanju Samson, will attempt to defeat New Zealand-A in the second game of the One DAY series. Tilak Varma, Rajangad Bawa, and Rahul Chahar are all members of India-starting A’s XI. In GAME 1, the Indian team handily trounced the visitors by seven wickets.
