The Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform has good news and bad news. The good news is that Hotstar’s revenue doubled in 2022 due to IPL 2022 and ICC T20 World Cup rights. And the bad news is that in order to maintain the same level of growth, Hotstar will not have IPL LIVE streaming rights in 2023. According to a report citing data from Tofler, Hotstar’s revenue will drop by 2 in the 2022 fiscal year. It doubled and the net loss decreased by 43%.
