On Wednesday, Australia’s opening batsman David Warner expressed his regret for not being able to play cricket with Kane Williamson at SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Warner was not retained by SunRisers Hyderabad, and in the IPL 2022 mega auction, the left-handed batter was purchased by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.25 crore.
“Going to miss my breakfast time with the Williamson’s and I shall miss playing cricket with you brother,” Warner captioned a sequence of images with Williamson on Instagram.
In the meantime, Williamson will be the captain of the Hyderabad franchise in the IPL 2022.
Last season, Warner was fired as Hyderabad’s captain and then was left out of the starting XI.
