T20 World Cup 2021 Prediction : BCCI has further five days to make changes to their squad.

eam India selectors have further five days to make any changes to their T20 World Cup squad, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has given all Super 12 teams a one-week window till October 15 to make any changes.

The commonly assumed October 10 deadline was just for teams scheduled to compete in the qualifying round from October 17 onwards, according to reports.

“Teams can modify their teams seven days before to the start of their support period,” an ICC official told The Times of India. The Super 12 begins on October 23, while India’s support period begins on October 23. So they have till midnight on October 15 to alter the squad.”

Former players have expressed their displeasure with the omission of prominent players such as Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal. Especially after their performance in the IPL 2021 UAE leg.

Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur have been selected as reserves for the Indian team. Meanwhile, all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s services remain in doubt, since he is yet to bowl in the second phase of the IPL 2021.

Unless someone gets injured, a BCCI official told IANS, there will be no changes to the team. The physios are thought to be keeping a tight eye on Varun Chakravarthy’s and Pandya’s fitness.
