Bengaluru, 16th February: Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions, paid Rs 89.90 crore in the two-day IPL 2022 Auction to acquire a total of 25 players, including eight overseas cricketers.
The Mumbai Indians’ management signalled with their purchases that they are likewise looking to develop a team for the future, as they spent a lot of money on it. The franchise paid Rs 8.25 crore for uncapped Australian cricketer Tim David and Rs 8 crore for England pace prodigy Jofra Archer.
