The Punjab Kings have signed England spinner Adil Rashid ahead of the IPL’s return in September 2021. Jhye Richardson, of Australia, has withdrawn from the competition.
The remaining IPL matches will be held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
The PBKS announced Rashid and Nathan Ellis as replacements.

“Rashid’s addition is sure to offer some much needed expertise to the Punjab Kings bowling arsenal,” PBKS stated.
“The Englishman joins Murugan Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi as the team’s third leg spinner, and will be coached by another renowned leg spinner in Anil Kumble.”
The 33-year-old will join fellow countrymen Dawid Malan and Chris Jordan in camp soon and be available for the full 2021 IPL season.
Adil Rashid is now joint second in England’s T20 wicket-taking list with Stuart Broad.
