The Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants are two of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2022’s newest clubs. In the 15th season of the T20 league, the two IPL debutants will face off on March 28.
However, even before their first game, their distinct jerseys have piqued the interest of their followers. The Lucknow Super Giants’ jersey was seen to some supporters. Badshah, a popular Indian rapper and musician, stole the show in Lucknow on March 9 when he filmed the promo video for LSG’s official theme song.
The 36-year-old rapper wore a jersey with the insignia of the Lucknow Super Giants on it, implying that he could as well be filming the theme song for a new team.
The Gujarat Titans have announced that their maiden match would be held on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (March 13). The event will reflect the spirit of the Gujarat Titans and the heritage of the state they represent, since it will be held at the world’s biggest cricket stadium and the team’s home pitch. Players, partners, and other dignitaries will attend the occasion.
Gujarat Titans will create a new standard with the unveiling of the team jersey during this event, which is aimed to elicit active fan involvement, after becoming the first team to launch its logo on The Metaverse.
