Officials from the BCCI have refuted multiple speculations that Indian pacer Deepak Chahar was hurt prior to the pivotal encounter between India and Pakistan at the Asia Cup 2022.
The 15-man squad that will compete in the 2022 Asia Cup will not include Deepak. He is a reserve, though. This implies that Deepak will be quickly called up in the event of a pacer injury. He joined the group in the UAE for that reason. However, a BCCI official claims that the story of the injury is also untrue.
An earlier report of Deepak Chahar’s injury while bowling in the nets went viral. Kuldeep Sen was supposed to take Deepak’s place because he had already been flown to the UAE. But Kuldeep has been transported to the UAE to play net bowling.

According to sources from InsideSport, Kuldeep Sen has been called up to Team India as a net bowler, while Deepak Chahar is still with the team and not injured. Chahar is still the team’s backup bowler and is currently in Dubai.
