All players have arrived in Mumbai to prepare for the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022. The IPL 2022 super auction was a bidding frenzy between all 10 franchises, with several clubs having to part with key players. After a quiet first day, Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL winners, dug deep into their coffers on the second day to pay Rs 15.25 crore for brilliant wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan.
The players were overjoyed to see each other after completing their three-day quarantine in Mumbai. Kishan was one of the players who fulfilled the obligatory quarantine period, and he met a lot of people, including Arjun Tendulkar.
In a video released on social media by the Mumbai Indians, when Kishan embraced Tendulkar, the latter was taken aback by Kishan’s scent and inquired about it.
“Nice perfume, kaunsa hai?” says the narrator. Tendulkar inquired of Kishan, who said, “I don’t know bro.”
Kishan had been one of MI’s finest performers in recent years, and it was believed that Rohit Sharma and his team would go to any length to reclaim him.
After being repurchased by MI, Kishan expressed his thanks to the company’s management for restoring his trust in him.

MI will be missing several important players in the 15th edition, including Hardik Pandya, Quinton de Kock, Krunal Pandya, and Trent Boult, who have all contributed significantly to Mumbai’s success over the years. Hardik will play for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022, where he will also serve as the franchise’s captain.
On March 27, the Mumbai Indians will face the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 22 season opener at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
