England pacesetter Sam Curran is on top of the world. The Punjabi Kings made the most expensive purchase in Indian Premier League (IPL) history when the Punjabi Kings bought him for Rs 18.5 crore at his auction on Friday. This also marks his return to the Punjab Kings who made his IPL debut in 2019.
In his initial reaction, curran was overwhelmed, saying he “didn’t think he would get the deal.”
“I didn’t get much sleep last night. I was a little excited and worried about how the auction would go. But yeah, absolutely blown away and incredibly humbled that I managed to do what I did.” I never thought I would get it,” Curran said on Star Sports Show’s Cricket Live – Auction Special.
