SLL VS RSAL TODAY MATCH PREDICTION

For cricket enthusiasts, the last month has been amazing, with so many thrilling matches in such a short span of time. It was made much cooler by the fact that some of those matches featured legends participating in the current Road Safety World Series. The series got off to a poor start, but it soon picked up, and the last few games have been absolutely spectacular.

We’re down to the final two games of the championship, and they both look like they’ll be exciting. The next match will be played between Sri Lanka Legends and South Africa Legends in the second semifinal. On March 19th, 2021, the match will be held at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. India has already qualified for the grand final, and the winner of this match will face India in Sunday’s final.

TEAM PREVIEWS

SRI LANKA LEGENDS

With a second-place finish on the table, Sri Lanka has undoubtedly been one of the strongest teams in the league, as shown by their recent performances. Sri Lanka won five of their six group stage matches, with their only defeat coming to India, who is already in the final. The Sri Lankans would be at the top of the table if the standings were determined by net run rate rather than head-to-head in the event of a draw.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, has already qualified and their place on the points table is irrelevant. Sri Lanka reaches the semifinals after putting on a spectacular display of cricket in their last few games. Their success in the previous match, in which they thrashed England Legends in under eight overs, was particularly impressive.

Tillakaratne Dilshan was outstanding in chasing a total of just 79 runs, scoring 61 runs from just 26 deliveries. He’s still been fairly consistent with the ball, picking up four crucial wickets in that game to rock England. Sri Lanka’s power with the ball is undoubtedly spinners, and given the way the surface has begun to act, this may work in their favour in the upcoming match.

Sri Lanka Legends have a fantastic team on paper, with a great mix of explosiveness and consistency. Dilshan and Tharanga, in particular, are in excellent shape with the bat and will be their trump cards in the upcoming contest. Beating Sri Lanka would be tough, as it has been during the tournament.

SOUTH AFRICA LEGENDS

South Africa roared into the semi-finals with a fantastic victory over Bangladesh in their final group game, and will be hoping to capitalise on their momentum. They won four of their six league matches, with their best victory coming in their final group match. Also, it is fair to say that the Proteas have progressed with each passing game and will pose a formidable challenge to the Sri Lankans on Friday.

South Africa Legends put in an all-around effort against Bangladesh, with their bowlers restricting Bangladesh to a manageable total before their openers took care of the rest. Andrew Puttick and Morne van Wyk were fantastic in chasing down a record of 161 and did so without causing any harm and with four balls to spare. South Africa’s opening pair will be their most valuable asset in the forthcoming tournament.

When it comes to the ball, South Africa lacks the firepower and expertise that they would like to see. Although they have the ability to pick up wickets, it would be fascinating to see how they do when put under pressure. The Proteas would be in big trouble if their bowlers will hold Sri Lankan batsmen in place.
