Noor Ali Zadran Bio

Noor Ali Zadran is an Afghan cricketer who plays for the Men’s National Cricket Team of Afghanistan in international cricket. Right-handed batsman Noor Ali Zadran can also bowl right-arm fast-medium. In domestic cricket, Zadran represents Mis Ainak Area.

Player Background

Noor Ali Zadran was born in Khost, Afghanistan, on July 10, 1988. Ricky Ponting is Noor Ali’s cricketing hero and source of inspiration. Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran, Zadran’s nephew, is an international cricketer for Afghanistan.

International Career

Noor Ali made her international debut for Afghanistan’s U-17 cricket team against the United Arab Emirates U-17s in 2004. After two years, he made his senior Afghanistan team debut against Saudi Arabia in the 2006 Middle East Cup. Ali made his Twenty20 debut for Afghanistan in 2007 in an ACC Twenty20 Cup match against Oman. On April 19, 2009, he made his One Day International debut against Scotland.

First Class Career

Afghanistan qualified for the 2009–10 ICC Intercontinental Cup after winning the World Cup Qualifier. They were to play first-class cricket against Associate countries on a regular basis.

In a match against Zimbabwe XI, Ali made his first-class debut. To catapult himself into the spotlight, he scored 130 runs off 200 deliveries against an experienced Zimbabwe team.

Noor Ali Zadran was selected to Afghanistan’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019.
