“Man On A Mission” : Rishabh Pant, the captain of the Delhi Capitals, is preparing for the IPL 2021 season. Keep an eye on things.

After Shreyas Iyer was ruled out of the upcoming season due to injury, Rishabh Pant was named captain of the Delhi Capitals for IPL 2021. During the ODI series between India and England, Iyer injured his shoulder when fielding. Pant faces a difficult challenge in trying to repeat last year’s triumph, when the Delhi Capitals reached the IPL final but were defeated by the Mumbai Indians. Pant, on the other hand, is in top form, having starred for India in the Test series against Australia and then putting in some strong performances during England’s tour of India.

The Delhi Capitals will be hoping that Pant’s good form continues and that he helps them win their first IPL title.

Pant met his teammates and hit the nets in a video shared by the Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. During the nets, the left-hander was seen whacking the ball and unleashing some of his most unusual shots.

Pant has been in excellent form for India in both Tests and One-Day Internationals. He played a key role in India’s Test series victory in Australia. His valiant innings in the second innings at the Gabba earned him international acclaim.

In the four-Test series against England, he scored two half-centuries and a fine century. Although he struggled in the T20I series, after being left out of the first match, he shone in the ODI series.

Pant scored 77 and 78 runs in the second and third One-Day Internationals, respectively, as India claimed the ODI series 2-1.
