ACCORDING TO OUR REPORT

MATCH WINNER MUMBAI

iplprediction.com

The Mumbai Indians have lost their first match in the IPL, staying true to form. They must now buckle down and attempt to defeat the Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament’s second match.

KKR got off to a great start against the Sunrisers and will be full of energy heading into this match. Though both teams played in Chennai, the weather conditions seemed to be very different.

The first match was low-scoring with a tough pitch to bat on, while the second match was high-scoring. It will be fascinating to see what we get in this venue’s third match.

The IPL 2021 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians will be held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 13th, 2021.

TEAM PREVIEWS

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

Nitish Rana batted beautifully for KKR in the first match and has carved out a place for himself at the top of the order. We thought it was curious that KKR chose not to play Sunil Narine or Lockie Ferguson, despite the fact that Shakib Al Hasan will most likely bat too low in the order to be useful.

Eoin Morgan did so for the England team because he likes to have multi-role players in his squad. At this point, it appears that Shakib will be favoured over Narine for the time being.

There’s no need for KKR to be concerned about getting bowled out or taking it easy at the top with Rana, Gill, Tripathi, Russell, Morgan, Karthik, Shakib, and even Cummins in the lineup. The previous match’s minor breakdown is something that occurs from time to time in T20 tournaments, but the thinking process was spot on.

KKR’s bowling attack was excellent, despite Pat Cummins receiving some criticism during the death. Varun Chakravarthy and Shakib Al Hasan were outstanding, and Andre Russell shone in the death overs.

MUMBAI INDIANS

Mumbai Indians lost their first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore despite having some excellent chances to win. Quinton de Kock was unavailable for the first match, and it is unclear if he would be available for the second match.

Also complicating matters is the fact that Chris Lynn scored an incredible 49 in the first match.

Marco Jensen made a surprise debut in the first match, but it’s unclear if he’ll keep his place in the team. MI has the option of replacing him with Jimmy Neesham, who will provide more hitting power to the lineup.

Adam Milne is also a member of the team, which is a fantastic choice to have because it strengthens the bowling attack. Mumbai’s middle-order is its greatest asset. Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, the Pandya twins, and Kieron Pollard are all world-class T20 cricketers.

Because of their batting range, the Mumbai Indians can afford to go a little harder earlier in the inning.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled well against RCB, and most of the others did well as well, but there seemed to be something lacking in the MI bowling attack overall. Rahul Chahar was supposed to be one of Chennai’s real challenges, but he had a bad game.

MI will look for early wickets, better execution from Trent Boult at the death, and an increase in Rahul Chahar’s success in this match. In the past, we’ve seen MI start off badly only to rebound fully.

KKR VS MI TOSS PREDICTION

The side that wins the toss would prefer to bat first. The pitch is playing remarkably well, and while there hasn’t been much dew yet, even a small amount would support the chasing team.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS

There is no chance that the match will be hampered by rain. The surface for the second match seemed to be drier and had cracks, but it stood up admirably and was a high-scoring match.

We hope for the same, but teams will want to have spinners in their lineups just in case the real Chennai wicket shows up!

Right now, a score of about 170 seems to be the standard for the venue.

KKR VS MI BETTING TIPS

In this match, we will bet on the Mumbai Indians to win. The most effective IPL team has only lost one match and has strong fundamentals. It should be able to recover quickly and learn from its errors in the previous match.

KKR is not a bad team and can put a lot of pressure on MI, but we don’t believe they have the firepower to beat MI in this series. It’s also worth noting that Mi has won 21 of the 27 matches they’ve played against KKR! Rohit Sharma enjoys playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders and still manages to score.
