PUNJAB VS MI PREDICTION 2021

IPL 2021 is continuing to produce close matches one after another, and while Chennai does not allow for typical high-scoring matches, we believe the low-scoring ones are just as thrilling. The Punjab Kings and the Mumbai Indians will face each other in the next match.

Both of these teams have had a shaky start to the IPL 2021 season, with their most recent match ending in a defeat. The Punjab Kings won their first match, but have lost their last three, making everybody in the camp nervous.

The Mumbai Indians have a lot of IPL experience and are used to winning, but two defeats in their first four games isn’t perfect, and they know they need to change.

This is the penultimate match of the IPL 2021 season, and it will be held in Chennai.

The IPL 2021 match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 23rd, 2021.

TEAM PREVIEWS

PUNJAB KINGS

The Punjab Kings faced the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first match in Chennai and found the going to be extremely difficult. The batting collapsed once more, and the team only managed to cross 120 thanks to Shahrukh Khan’s contributions at the bottom of the order.

Even though we knew the Punjab Kings’ batting lineup was not well-suited to the spin-friendly conditions in Chennai, 120 was still a weak attempt. In addition, Punjab Kings had dropped their two overseas fast bowlers in order to lengthen their batting lineup, but this did not work out.

They are in a difficult situation, but we do not believe they will change their lineup every match. Perhaps Sarafarz Khan might find a place in the batting lineup to assist in scoring against spin, but that’s about it.

Ravi Bishnoi, despite performing admirably in the previous IPL season, is not in the picture for some reason. On the Chennai pitch, he may have been a handful. If he will be given a chance in this match to replace the underwhelming M Ashwin.

Punjab Kings’ batting lineup isn’t working, and their bowling isn’t either. This places it in a very difficult position heading into the next match, and we believe it would take something extraordinary to turn things around in Chennai.

MUMBAI INDIANS

The Mumbai Indians have such a strong setup that any loss comes as a shock. Although the conditions in Chennai are not ideal, we believe Mumbai will demand a little more from its players. After a strong start, Mumbai Indians were reduced to 76 for 2 in 8.3 overs against Delhi Capitals, and things quickly fell apart. Mumbai Indians limped to 137 after injudicious shots and an inability to play according to the condition, and although they put up a struggle, they were unable to defend it.

The Mumbai Indians’ greatest flaw has been their middle-order, which has failed to capitalise on the team’s good starts. Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Ishan Kishan, and Krunal Pandya are all foreign players who specialise in this role, so the lack of performances is surprising.

Even then, a couple of poor results do not make the Mumbai Indians a bad team. We also believe that the team’s management would stop making any adjustments to the batting order.

Mumbai Indians have a world-class bowling attack. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah have been outstanding in the death overs, Rahul Chahar has taken wickets in nearly every match, and even Krunal Pandya has been very successful. Adam Milne was given the role of third seamer before being dropped against the Delhi Capitals.

We believe Adam Milne has a good chance of returning to the team for this match.
