Since the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was postponed earlier this month after many players and support staff tested positive inside the bio-secure bubble, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been very involved on social media. Jadeja, who plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has been posting pictures of himself with his horses and giving fans a glimpse of his training for the upcoming World Test Championship final and England Test series in the United Kingdom. CSK took to Instagram on Sunday to post a video of skipper MS Dhoni attempting Jadeja’s signature sword-wielding gesture.

Soon after CSK posted the video, the all-rounder offered his captain a suggestion. In the comments section, Jadeja wrote, “Should try with the bat.”

On Saturday, Jadeja unveiled his “22 acres entertainer” — his horse — to his followers.

On May 8, the 32-year-old left-hander was selected to an 18-man squad for the WTC final and a five-match Test series against England.

Due to an injury sustained in the third Test in Australia, Jadeja was forced to miss the entire home series against England (4 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is) earlier this year.

During the IPL 2021, the all-rounder returned to international cricket and made an immediate impact with both bat and ball.

Jadeja scored 131 runs at a strike rate of over 161 in the seven matches of the now-cancelled T20 tournament, while also picking up six wickets and conceding runs at less than 7 runs per over.
