Punjab Kings CEO says that the team will leave for the UAE on August 29 : IPL Prediction

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) will travel to the United Arab Emirates on August 29 to prepare for the second half of the IPL 2021 season. They were scheduled to play the Delhi Capitals in the final game of the first half of the tournament, but it was postponed owing to repeated bio-bubble breaches.

The franchise got a makeover, which included a name change and a new team logo. Satish Menon, the CEO of the Punjab Kings, announced that the team will depart for the Middle East at the end of the month.

KL Rahul, the captain of the Punjab Kings, will also return to the team. If the tournament had gone on, the wicket-keeper batsman would have missed a large number of games owing to appendicitis.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is reportedly rumoured to be preparing a training camp in the United Arab Emirates. SRH, like the Punjab Kings, is finalising plans to dispatch a force within the next two weeks.

CSK and DC to reach UAE before Punjab Kings

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are the first teams expected to arrive in the UAE ahead of the IPL’s return.

Despite the fact that the Punjab Kings and other franchises planned to start their camps at the same time, a number of players are still with the national team on their different assignments.

The top two teams in the points table have begun making plans to send their teams as soon as possible. They even applied to the BCCI for permission to travel to the UAE a month before the competition resumed.

The second phase of the IPL 2021 will go off on September 19 in Dubai with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
