The ICC informed on Wednesday that Turkey has withdrawn from the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
The qualifier will now be a five-team tournament, as shown in the updated fixture list below. The five-day competition will be streamed live for spectators worldwide.
Andy Wright, ICC Europe Regional Development Manager: “Turkey will not be participating in the Europe Qualifier at La Manga. We have been in touch with the federation over the past month to help them get to Spain in time for the event and we applaud them for their efforts.”
