IPL Prediction 2022 : The BCCI has formed a committee to look into the charges made against CVC Sports.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has set up a committee to look into the issues surrounding CVC Sports’ acquisition of the IPL’s Ahmedabad franchise.

The IPL Governing Council, which met in Kolkata on Friday, opted to wait till the five-member committee submits its report before making a decision on CVC. There are claims that the company owns a stake in a UK betting company.

As a result, the Board has yet to present CVC Sports with a letter of intent. Once the CVC problem is addressed, the date and location for the IPL auction will be set.

The deadline for the two entrants to choose a maximum of three players outside of the next year’s auction – between December 1 and 25 – is set to be extended. “We expect the deadline to be delayed by a few days because to the lack of clarity on CVC.” We’re keeping an eye on the matter and will make a judgement once we have more information,” a source familiar with the situation told Sportstar.

The Governing Council also discussed the subject of media rights and decided to seek advice from an outside organisation. “Before deciding whether the process will be an e-auction or close bidding, we’d like some professional advice.” The process should be completed by the end of next month, according to the source.
