Ipl t20 prediction : IPL 2022 Teams will be for 3-5 days after in Mumbai by March 8th, according to a report.

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) would be fully hosted in Maharashtra, with three stadiums in Mumbai and one in Pune hosting the league stage. According to rumours, the teams will arrive in Mumbai on March 8 and would be quarantined for 3-5 days before the league starts on March 26.

The IPL 2022 will feature a total of 74 matches, courtesy to the inclusion of two more franchises, bringing the total number of franchises to ten. 70 of the games will take place in a league setting. The Wankhede Stadium, the Brabourne Stadium, and the DY Patil Stadium will host 55 of the matches. The Maharashtra Cricket Association (MHCA) stadium at Gahunje, Pune, will host the last 15 matches.

The Maharashtra government met with BCCI Acting CEO Hemang Amin on March 2, 2022, in which senior members of the Mumbai Cricket Association also attended. The meeting with MCA leaders and Amin was also attended by Aaditya Thackeray and Eknath Shinde.

Teams are expected to begin practising as early as March 14-15.

According to a source close to the situation, the franchisees are expected to begin practising on March 14-15 after arriving in Mumbai on March 8 and quarantining for 3-5 days.

“Teams will most likely begin practising around March 14-15. Around March 8, players and support personnel will begin arriving in Mumbai for the IPL. Before entering their individual bubbles, the participants who will be a part of the bubble will be quarantined for 3-5 days. All participants will be tested for RT-PCR 48 hours prior to their planned flight from their home location to Mumbai.

They will be tested three times in-room RT-PCR tests while in quarantine, the first on day 1, the second on day 3, and the third on day 5. If they are quarantined for three days, they will be checked every day. “They would be allowed to leave quarantine and resume team activities if all three test results are negative,” the source told ANI.

The BCCI has approved five venues for the training of all 10 teams, including MCA Ground in Thane and Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai. According to the source, a green corridor would be built to allow franchisees to travel freely between training facilities and stadiums.

“It would be ideal to have a secure passage and seamless movement throughout the voyage to Navi Mumbai and Pune to prevent delays.” If a team member tests positive for COVID-19, they will most likely be permitted to quarantine at the hotel, with particular provisions planned for such case,” the insider noted.

Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will hold 20 matches, while Brabourne Stadium will host 15 matches (CCI). Twenty matches will be held in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, while 15 will be held at Pune’s MCA International Stadium.
