Sri Lanka has won four and lost one of their five matches. Sri Lanka Legends are riding high on momentum, having won three of their last three matches. They will be brimming with optimism. Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 42 runs in their previous match, with Upul Tharanga batting brilliantly to guide his team to a total of 180. The rest was done by the bowlers, and Sri Lanka emerged victorious.
Sri Lanka is one of the most well-balanced teams in the world, with superb provocation and consistency. Although the form of Sanath Jayasuriya would be a worry for the Lankans, the form of the other players is unquestionably a plus. Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, and Chamara Silva have all shown promise with the bat and will be key players in the upcoming match. In the previous match, Dhammika Prasad and Farveez Maharoof bowled with control and precision, and they could be the bowlers to watch. They still have some good potential in other teams, and if they can produce, Sri Lanka will be a difficult team to beat.

England entered the Road Safety Series late, which could cost them a place in the semifinal if they don’t win this match against Sri Lanka. England Legends are currently in fifth place, just outside the top four, but a victory here should be enough to advance them to the semifinals.
England has won two and lost one of the three matches they have played. Their only defeat came at the hands of legends from South Africa, a defeat that severely hindered England’s net run rate. In that match, England’s batting collapsed sharply, as they were bowled out for just 121 runs. South Africa easily chased down the total, winning the match with eight wickets in hand and 42 balls remaining.
England, at least on paper, does not have the star potential as many of the other teams do. Kevin Pietersen and Monty Panesar, on the other hand, have been in superb shape for them and will most definitely be the English team’s trump cards. They’ll need the other players to do well as well, and if that happens, Sri Lanka’s job will be cut out for them.
