Sachin Baby is a cricketer from India who currently represents Kerala in domestic cricket. Sachin Tendulkar, a left-handed batsman who also bowls right-arm off break, was born on December 18, 1988, in Adimali, Kerala.
IPL Career
Sachin Baby was called up to the Rajasthan Royals squad for the 2013 season after a strong showing in List A matches, though he only got to play one match.
He remained with the Rajasthan Royals until 2016, appearing in just four matches for the club, scoring just three runs.
In the 2016 IPL Player Auction, he was acquired by Royal Challenger Bangalore. He has scored 119 runs in 11 matches for RCB, with the highest score of 33. In the IPL, he has a batting average of 20.33. Sunrisers Hyderabad purchased him in the 2018 IPL Auction.
Background
Sachin Baby made his first-class debut with Kerala in 2009, and has since become a consistent member of Kerala’s middle order. In the 2012-13 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he captained Kerala and scored a century in the quarterfinals. His average on List A is over 40, with a top score of 104 not out.
