IPL 2021 : After testing negative for COVID-19, Devdutt Padikkal joins the RCB camp.

Devdutt Padikkal, who tested positive for coronavirus on March 22, has now tested negative and entered the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp in Chennai. RCB shared a video message from Devdutt Padikkal on Twitter, in which the uncapped opener confirms that he has tested negative for the coronavirus twice and is ready to play in the upcoming season. “Devdutt Padikkal enters the RCB camp after testing negative for COVID-19 in the Bold Diaries. He’s in good shape, doing much healthier, and eager to go. Devdutt has sent a letter to all RCB fans “RCB sent out a tweet.

“I appreciate everyone’s well wishes and blessings. It means a great deal to me. As you are conscious, I tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago and had to quarantine at home for two weeks as per BCCI and IPL protocol “Padikkal remarked.

“But now, after two unsuccessful samples, I’ve quit the camp, and I’m feeling great, and I can’t wait to get back out there and join the RCB camp,” he said.

Earlier in the day, RCB’s Australia international Daniel Sams was diagnosed with the coronavirus, putting the team’s first game of the season in jeopardy.

Sams is currently in isolation, and the RCB medical team is in regular contact with him.

On April 9, RCB will open their IPL campaign in Chennai against the reigning champions Mumbai Indians.
