HYDERABAD VS DELHI PREDICTIONS 2021

We’ll be saying our goodbyes to Chepauk for IPL 2021 with the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, and both teams will like to win on a ground they’ll be familiar with. With the Royals’ victory over the Knight Riders, the Sunrisers are now one of just two teams in the tournament to have won only one match.

The Delhi Capitals are in full swing right now, resting comfortably in the upper half of the table. Having said that, the tournament’s rivalry is becoming more fierce with each passing day, and they, too, do not want to leave any points on the table.

The match between the two teams will take place on April 25, 2021, at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Cricket Stadium.

TEAM PREVIEWS

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

Sunrisers Hyderabad have finally found themselves in a better place after a much-needed victory over Punjab Kings in their previous match. The Sunrisers made several improvements to their playing eleven ahead of that match, and it can be inferred that the changes were effective. The Sunrisers seemed to be well-equipped in both areas of the game, and they’ll be trying to keep the momentum going.

They are currently ranked seventh in the points standings, but a victory here will propel them up two spots, owing to their respectable net run rate. When the tournament began, the Sunrisers were thought to be one of the teams that will love their time in Chennai due to the presence of excellent slower bowlers. It took them a long time to figure out what was going on.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting looks solid at the top now that Kane Williamson has returned to the playing eleven. However, their over-reliance on overseas batsmen is also evident. Both four matches that the Sunrisers have played have seen Abdul Samad, Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, and Virat Singh struggle. The good news is that Jonny Bairstow has appeared imperious and will appear to be the Sunrisers’ captain.

The Sunrisers have earned a reputation for being a good bowling team over the years. They have a fantastic group of bowlers this time who can take advantage of Chepauk’s conditions. Rashid Khan poses a threat on any surface and may be a tough opponent to contend with in a turn. David Warner used Abhishek Sharma effectively against the Kings, and we expect him to do so again.

DELHI CAPITALS

With the inclusion of Shreyas Iyer in the middle-order when the tournament began, there were some questions about Delhi’s middle-order. They have not only answered those questions, but they have done so with much grace. The Capitals are currently in third place on the points table, having collected six points in four games. They have a 0.426 net run rate.

The Delhi Capitals haven’t played much cricket at this venue, but they did a fantastic job in their one appearance. They easily beat Mumbai Indians, with contributions from both batsmen and bowlers. The reality that beating Mumbai Indians is never easy will be enough to build Delhi Capitals

The Capitals will have to keep up with the Challengers and Super Kings as the rivalry progresses. Though the mission is challenging, they have the team to complete it. Shikhar Dhawan, who has looked at his vintage best in the tournament, is arguably their most important pillar of support. He is currently wearing the orange cap and will be crucial to Delhi’s success. Prithvi Shaw has flashes of genius, but in the games to come, he would need to be more reliable.

Steven Smith’s addition has provided the Capitals with much-needed depth, allowing hard-hitters such as Pant, Stoinis, and Hetymyer to go berserk in the final overs. The Capitals have a bowling device that is specifically designed for Chepuak’s surface. They have Ashwin and Mishra, two world-class spinners, and Lalit Yadav, who can roll his arm. The only real problem for the Capitals would be Rabada’s form, and we might see him being substituted by Chris Woakes, who is arguably a better bet on this kind of surface.

According to reports from Delhi’s camp, Axar Patel has joined the Capitals’ squad and is ready to play. However, given how well Delhi has performed in recent tournaments, Axar will most likely sit out the upcoming match. On paper, the Capitals have a great squad and will be a tough team to beat.
