PUNJAB VS KOLKATA PREDICTION 2021

Punjab Kings have advanced to the centre of the IPL 2021 table standings after winning a crucial match against the Mumbai Indians in the previous match. The Kolkata Knight Riders, their opponents in this contest, are still looking for their second victory of the season, having lost their previous four games.

This will be the first match in the Ahemdabad leg, and it will be fun to see what kind of surface the teams will be playing on. In the T20 series between India and England played there a few weeks ago, we saw a reasonably quick and bouncy wicket on sale.

Punjab Kings shows signs of form in the previous match, although KKR seems to be unsure of the best technique to employ.

Both teams would like to win this game and pull closer to the top four positions in the IPL league table.

The IPL 2021 match between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on April 26th, 2021.

TEAM PREVIEWS

PUNJAB KINGS

This will be a fascinating match for Punjab Kings. It finally got its squad combination right for a sluggish Chennai pitch, but it will have to make more improvements. To make best use of the circumstances, Fabian Allen should be replaced by Jhye Richardson.

Moises Henriques has done enough to retain his place as a front-line pitcher who can bowl with the new ball and support the batting order. With Dawid Malan on the bench, there’s no denying that pressure is mounting on Nicholas Pooran to score some runs.

Pooran will not be dropped in this game, but he is on the verge of being dropped.

KL Rahul has been chastised for his strike pace, but he has been the most important factor in his team’s two victories in IPL 2021. The Punjab Kings’ batting is pretty good, particularly with Mayank Aggarwal and Chris Gayle in shape.

They have Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda, Moises Henriques, and Shahrukh Khan in their lineup, so they can afford to go a little harder in what should be better batting conditions.

Punjab Kings should be able to send KKR a run for their money if they can make any early breakthroughs.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

KKR seems to be the team in IPL 2021 that is losing the most after two weeks of play. It has T20 cricket’s finest all-rounder but doesn’t seem to know what to do with him. Even the other strategies have been strange in general.

In addition, the performance of its key actors is alarming. Shubman Gill has had a disappointing start to the IPL, Nitish Rana has cooled down after a strong start, Eoin Morgan is unable to buy a run at the moment, and the bowling attack has been underwhelming.

Andre Russell came to the crease with several overs to bat in one match, and he almost won them the game from a spot where KKR should have had little chance. KKR’s new batting lineup is shaky and seems to lack the X-factor needed to perform effectively.

Sunil Narine’s addition to the assault has also failed to have the desired impact. His bowling is adequate, but not quite as successful as it once was. His batting has also weakened, and we’re not sure if he still deserves a place in the starting eleven.

Varun Chakravarthy has been the best bowler for KKR so far. Shivam Mavi was excellent in the only match he played. However, Prasiddh Krishna has struggled to take early wickets, and Pat Cummins remains shockingly costly for a bowler of his size.

KKR has a lot of big names in its roster, including some very pricey players who were bought in the auction, but they don’t seem to be working out right now. You can’t dismiss them, but they seem to be stuck in a rut that is impossible to break out from.
