According to sources, one SunRisers Hyderabad player and a Delhi Capitals player have tested positive for COVID-19

“In an emergency meeting, the Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unanimously agreed to postpone the IPL 2021 season, with immediate effect,” the media advisory said.

The BCCI has stated that it would do whatever possible to ensure the safe and stable passage of all IPL 2021 participants.
