Pakistan’s intentions to go for England have been hampered by the PCB’s decision to move the PSL final to June 24

The Pakistan Cricket Board revealed an adjustment to the tentative plans for the balance of the PSL 2021, which the board is aiming to host this month in the UAE, after an online discussion with franchise owners on Tuesday afternoon. The PCB said that the competition will now finish on June 24, four days later than intended, delaying Pakistan’s departure for England.

“The Pakistan men’s squad will now travel for England on June 25 rather than June 23,” PCB stated in a statement, adding that it is continuing to work with the Abu Dhabi administration in the hopes of resuming the halted T20 event on June 7.

“If the event begins on June 7, departure for England on June 25 will imply only three double-headers,” the board noted.

Pakistan will play England in three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty-20 Internationals (T20Is) beginning July 8.

Meanwhile, PCB said that another group of seven members has arrived in Abu Dhabi, including Sarfaraz Ahmed.
